Schachner

Located in the well-known ski area Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Hotel Schachner is set next to the slopes. It offers traditionally decorated rooms with flat-screen TV, cable TV and a balcony. The Schachner features a bar and a restaurant, serving Austrian and international specialties. A la carte dinner is served and twice a week an afternoon snack is offered. A rich buffet breakfast is available featuring local products. A children’s playground and a games room with table tennis and toys are provided at the hotel. Guests can relax on the terrace or in the spa area including various saunas and a steam bath. The Unterschwarzachbahn Cable Car is directly behind Hotel Schachner. Floodlit slopes enable guests to ski in the dark. Activities like sleigh riding or toboggan facilities can be found in the vicinity. Mountain bike classes and guided hiking tours are available on request and at surcharge. From late May to late October, the Joker Card is included in the rate. This card offers many free bene-fits and discounts, including free use of local cable cars and buses.
