1888 Wensel House

The restored Victorian house is conveniently located for walking, being only a block from the park along the edge of the park overlooking the river and only 4 blocks from the center of town. The three guest rooms are on the 2nd floor. Each has 2 beds (Queen & Single) and a private "en suite" bathroom adjoining just that room. A full breakfast is freshly-cooked each morning (eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, home-made biscuits, blueberry pancakes, fresh fruit, orange juice, & coffee or tea). Wine, soft drinks, and fresh fruit are gratis and are available any time. You help yourself to Franzia Chardonnay in a box in the refrigerator and to soft drinks and purified water and ice in the bar at the foot of the stairs. Your hosts enjoy providing you with guidance on what to see and where to eat and drink. A free, small, secluded, private, on-site parking lot is located behind the house, at the end of Wensel Street.
